Newly created in April 2001, our vision is a legacy of healthy, productive, safe rural communities on O‘ahu.
Mission: To partner and collaborate to promote and advocate for healthy, productive and safe rural communities on O‘ahu.
Our guiding principles

COLLABORATION between communities, schools, other health entities, and anyone addressing rural health issues
Our goals include addressing the following issues as
they pertain to rural health and wellness on O‘ahu:
Rural Health Issues: Systematically identifying rural health issues facing our communities and devising collaborative, workable solutions
Health work force: Advocate and provide assistance for recruiting, training, and retaining health care workers for rural communities
Finance: Minimize competition for limited resources and work together to maximize funding, where appropriate
